Do you want a healthy, fully-developed life? Creative expression is crucial and you can begin developing yours (or your child's) now. Shabala Studio is an art school in Kingston, WA. It's a joyful and nurturing environment where children, teens, and adults can learn to draw, paint, and express themselves creatively. The youth program (for approximately* age six - teen) includes Home School or After School Art and Summer Art Camp. Teens and Adults can study Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain or explore Watercolor Painting. In addition, Creativity Coaching, Play Dates for Grown-Ups, Artful Birthday Parties, and Create Your Own Workshop offer enriching creative experiences. At Shabala Studio, learners improve their art skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere, supported through a constructivist approach to find their own way to make art. Constructivism offers the opportunity to make connections that are personally meaningful; students "construct" understandings as they work on projects of their own design, with the teacher as a knowledgeable guide. Continuing art education has been proven to enhance problem-solving, mathematical, and literacy skills--and it simply makes life more fun! * We're all unique!
